LONDON (Alliance News) - Xeros Technology Group PLC, a garment cleaning technology developer, said Friday that Non-Executive Director Julian Viggars will resign from the company in May following his promotion at Mercia Technologies PLC.
Viggars - a non-executive at Xeros since 2009 - was promoted to chief investment officer and joined the board of Mercia earlier in April. As a consequence, he decided to stand down from his role at Xeros.
Viggars will resign on May 23, after the annual general meeting of Xeros is held.
"I would like to thank Julian for his contribution to our board," Xeros Chairman John Samuel said. "As the representative of one of our initial investors, he has contributed greatly to our progress."
Shares in Xeros were 0.5% higher at 158.25 pence on Friday.
