Vianet Appoints Former Microsoft Executive Coplin As Non-Exec Director

LONDON (Alliance News) - Vianet Group PLC said Thursday Non-Executive Director Mike McGoun is to retire from the board, as it also hired a new non-executive director.

McGoun, will retire at the company's annual general meeting in late June after five years at Vianet.

The company has hired David Coplin as non-executive director from April. He was Microsoft's chief envisioning officer for seven years until September last year, and is also a non-executive director for Mitchells & Butlers PLC.

Shares were down 1.9% on Thursday at 131.01 pence each.
