(Alliance News) - Sensyne Health PLC on Monday said it has hired Michael Norris as interim chief financial officer, with immediate effect.
The appointment comes after the clinical technology firm said earlier Monday that Lorimer Headley had stepped down from the role after three years in the position.
Norris has more than 20 years of experience working with public and private companies in the technology and life sciences sectors, Sensyne said. It added that he has served as chief financial officer and interim chief financial officer for companies including biotechnology & pharmaceutical company Beckley Canopy Therapeutics Ltd, specialty polymers firm Itaconix PLC, and medical equipment company Rapid Rhythm Ltd.
The company said it is continuing in its search for a permanent finance chief.
Shares in Sensyne Health closed 5.6% lower at 42.50 pence each on Monday in London.
