TBC Bank CEO says it is considering a separate IPO for Uzbekistan business

Feb 24 (Reuters) - ​Georgia's TBC ⁠bank said ​on Wednesday that it is ​considering ‌a separate initial ⁠public offering for its ⁠TBC Uzbekistan ​business.

At a strategy day in New York ​City, ‌CEO Vakhtang Butskhrikidze said: "We constantly review the strategic options for ​this business as it ‌delivers on its growth ambitions. ‌This could include both organic and inorganic growth, and ​possibly an IPO of the ‌Uzbekistan business."

TBC is listed in London, and ⁠has been ⁠expanding in Uzbekistan ‌since 2019 when it ​gained ​a banking ‌license there. (Reporting by Felix Light in Almaty Editing by Peter Graff)
