Surgical Innovations Says CELLIS Products Range Receives CE Mark

Thu, 13th Sep 2018 11:21

LONDON (Alliance News) - Surgical Innovations Group PLC said Thursday the CELLIS products range supplied by Meccellis Biotech SA to its distribution unit Elemental Healthcare Ltd received the CE mark certification.

Elemental received confirmation from Meccellis that CE certification has been issued in respect of the full range of CELLIS products it used to sell.

The CE mark now covers new products including the CELLIS Breast Pocket range launched last week. The certificates are valid until August 2023.

"Meccellis are now in a position to resume manufacture of these products, and detailed plans are in progress to facilitate a timely and controlled reintroduction to the UK market in coming weeks," Surgical Innovations said.

Surgical Innovations shares were trading up 5.5% at 3.38 pence each.
