Steppe Cement lifts production

Kazakhstan-based cement supplier Steppe Cement posted higher revenues in the third quarter despite lower prices after lifting production.Third quarter revenue totalled KZT3.083bn (£12.6m) a rise of 11% from the same period a year ago, with sales volumes climbing by 35% to 286,896 tonnes. The average price for cement between the two periods fell to KZT9,551 from 14,554.
