Senator criticizes US transport chief for corporate-paid vacation

WASHINGTON, May 19 (Reuters) - ⁠A Democratic senator on Tuesday criticized Transportation ‌Secretary ⁠Sean Duffy for taking ⁠a family vacation paid for by corporate donors ‌and filmed for a web video series.

"Your vacation ‌was paid for by Boeing, ‌Toyota , United Airlines, Enterprise, Shell, Royal Caribbean Group," said Senator ‌Kristen Gillibrand, the top Democrat on ⁠a ⁠Senate ‌Appropriations subcommittee. "This road trip doesn't smell right." (Reporting ‌by David Shepardson; Editing by Chris Reese)
