Rosslyn Data secures contract with Fortune 500 company

(ShareCast News) - Rosslyn Data Technologies has won a contract a global enterprise in the Fortune 500 for £200,000, driving shares up by 8%.The data company will provide its RAPid Big data cloud analysts platform to the unnamed group, replacing its former analyst service.Rosslyn expects several further projects will be initiated upon completion of the first phase of the contract.Chief executive Charles Clark said: "Our partner's decision to switch from an existing platform, that is so vital to their operations and service delivery, is a credible achievement for Rosslyn and is a significant step towards demonstrating the scalability and broad applicability of our platform and the technologies that our team has developed."Looking ahead, the group said it continues to make good progress with a number of new clients and it has expanded its revenues in existing clients.Between December and April, Rossylin secured two contracts with FTSE 100 and FTSE 250 companies, for a total value of £300,000, with good upside potential.Following the news, shares jumped 8% to 12.15p on Wednesday at 10:28.
