Predator Reports Commencement Of Workover Operations In Trinidad

Mon, 12th Aug 2019 12:34

(Alliance News) - Predator Oil & Gas Holdings PLC on Monday said the operator of the Inniss-Trinity field, located onshore Trinidad, has commenced workover operations to survey downhole the AT-4 and AT-5X wells.

The operator of the Inniss-Trinity field is Fram Exploration Trinidad Ltd, a subsidiary of Columbus Energy Resources PLC.

The workover operations aim to ensure there are no obstructions that would prevent Predator's preferred downhole completion design from being installed across the Herrera sand interval chosen for the first injectivity and production test.

AT-4 and AT-5X are the wells chosen for initial pilot carbon dioxide enhanced oil recovery operations, Predator explained.

"We are pleased that operations have begun to potentially clear the way for the next stage of the carbon dioxide enhanced oil recovery pilot project to begin," said Chief Executive Paul Griffiths.

"Simultaneously we are accelerating our plans to drill in Morocco and expect to conclude an option on a rig in the near future, subject to acceptable commercial terms, based on current discussions with several parties," added Griffifths.

Predator shares were trading 1.1% lower on Monday in London at 4.60 pence each.
