Orosur Mining Climbs As It Receives Payment From Partner Newmont

(Alliance News) - Shares in Orosur Mining Inc rose Thursday as the firm received a payment as part of its earn-in with Newmont GoldCorp in Colombia.

The stock was 12% higher on Thursday afternoon in London at a price of 3.20 pence each.

Newmont has paid Orosur USD690,000, as part of the joint venture agreement the two have at the Anza gold project in the South American nation.

Canadian gold explorer Orosur started further exploration work at Anza in July this year, after discovering a "broad" zone of gold mineralisation in 2018.
