N Brown appoints new CEO

N Brown Group, an online, catalogue and stores retailer, has appointed a new Chief Executive Officer (CEO), replacing Alan White in the role some time before the beginning of July. Angela Spinler, who has been the CEO of The Original Factory Shop since 2009, said she was "delighted" to be joining the company. She has also held roles at Coca Cola, Pedigree Masterfoods, Asda and Debenhams.Andrew Higginson, Chairman of N Brown, said: "We are delighted that Angela has decided to join N Brown and lead it through the next phase of its exciting growth. She brings a tremendous breadth of experience to the role, most recently as a successful CEO, and the board firmly believes she has the personal qualities to lead the team, and the business, as it continues its growth online and internationally. "I would like to say a particular thank you to Alan White, who has helped me to settle in, and who will stay on to ensure a proper handover to Angela."White announced back in July that he planned to retire from the company.
