LONDON (Alliance News) - Engineering support services company Management Resource Solutions PLC said Wednesday it acquired a previously rented engineering facility in the UK for AUD3 million, or around GBP1.65 million.
The company has bought 9-43 Thomas Mitchell Drive in Muswellbrook, the operational base of unit MRS Services Group. It plans to invest around AUSD2 million in refurbishing the facility to maximise its potential.
"I'm pleased that we now have complete control of this critical asset, and this sends a clear message to all stakeholders that the company is stable and investing in the local community and committed to providing the most efficient and safe servicing for our customers," Chief Executive Paul Brenton said.
Shares in Management Resource Solutions were trading at 8.18 pence, up 5.6%.
