(Alliance News) - LPA Group PLC on Tuesday said it expects to at "at least" meet expectations for financial 2019, as it announced two new contract wins.
The LED-lighting manufacturer said that despite facing some challenges during the year to September 30, 2019, it achieved a "record order entry" of GBP27 million.
Looking ahead, LPA Chief Operating Officer Paul Curtis said: "The current financial year has started well, with order entry totaling GBP6.4 million in the first quarter and increasing activity, which we expect to continue throughout this year and into the next. We have a strong orderbook, many opportunities to pursue and look forward to the future with confidence".
The company also said it has secured a five-year LED lighting system contract from Austrian Federal Railways and another contract for electro-mechanical assemblies for the UK rail sector. No financial details of the contract were disclosed.
LPA shares were trading 2.1% lower at 94.00 pence each on Tuesday morning in London.
