Low & Bonar CEO and Finance Director trade in shares from LTIP

Steve Good, the Group Chief Executive of materials group Low & Bonar, has sold a significant portion of the 1.4m shares that recently vested under the company's long-term incentive plan.Of these, he sold 908,676, taking his total stake in the company to 919,098. Mike Holt, the group's Finance Director since November 2010, sold 711,756 of the 980,000 shares he was awarded under the same plan. All shares were traded in at 70.5p each. In a brief trading statement issued Tuesday, the group said its Flooring, Industrial, Transport and Artificial Grass Yarns sectors have started the year well, but warned demand for its Civil Engineering products has been slower, primarily as a result of the harsh weather conditions across Europe. That said, it now expects the division to return to more normal levels of activity during the second quarter. The company is on track to make progress throughout the year, it added.
