LONDON (Alliance News) - Landore Resources Ltd Monday said it has completed a geophysics review of the Junior Lake property in Ontario in Canada which has identified new exploration targets.
The company hired geophysicist Alan King to conduct the review over the nickel, copper and platinum group metal project. King reviewed all the geophysical data collected to date, including all the 2D and 3D geophysical work which were integrated with drilling data.
The miner said the review has identified priority exploration targets. A large negative magnetic anomaly has been identified opposite a previously identified large structure in the western portion of the property alongside a "prominent" and isolated anomaly to the south-west of the B4-7 deposit at the project.
The report has also identified a down dip on the central and western portions of the B4-7 deposit and on the VW zone to the north of the property.
"There is an enormous amount of high quality geophysical data on the property and the 3D integration with geology and drill results has confirmed the geophysical response of the known mineralisation and has helped prioritise the best remaining targets. The targets above are the most obvious but there are additional targets in prospective geology that could be reviewed in more detail once these higher priority targets are evaluated," said the company.
The Junior Lake property, 100% owned by Landore Resources, is located in the province of Ontario, Canada, approximately 235 kilometres northeast of Thunder Bay, and is host to the main B4-7 nickel-copper-cobalt and platinum group metals resource.
Landore shares were up 6.9% to 0.775 pence per share on Monday morning.
