Invesco Raises GBP124 Million From Sale Of 8% Stake In AJ Bell

(Alliance News) - Numis Securities Ltd on Friday confirmed that Invesco Asset Management Ltd has sold 31.0 million shares in AJ Bell PLC at 400 pence each for a total of GBP123.9 million.

Shares in FTSE 250-listed investment platform AJ Bell were trading 15% lower at 380.00 pence each on Friday morning in London.

The sale was conducted by way of an accelerated bookbuild - launched Thursday - in which Numis acted as sole bookrunner.

Following completion of the sale of the 7.6% stake, Invesco will hold just 1.3 million shares in AJ Bell, a 0.3% holding.
