Nakama Group PLC - Surrey-based recruitment group placing people into specialist or management positions - Releases both full-year results and interim results on Monday.
Reports a swing to a pretax loss of GBP114,000 for its financial year ended March 31, 2020, compared to a GBP354,000 profit the year prior. Nakama's full-year revenue was GBP9.7 million, down 28% from GBP13.4 million the year before, and its full-year net fee income was down to GBP2.9 million, a 30% decrease from GBP4.1 million in 2019.
Nakama also reports a swing to a pretax loss GBP99,000 for the six months ended September 30, 2020, compared to a profit of GBP20,000 the year prior. The company's revenue for the period was GBP3.1 million, a 35% decrease from GBP4.8 million in 2019. Nakama says these decreases were due to the onset of Covid-19, which had an immediate impact on the company and has seen trading decline accordingly.
