IN BRIEF: Empresaria Expects Lower Annual Profit, Net Fee Income

Wed, 02nd Dec 2020 13:29

Empresaria Group PLC - staffing - For 2020, expects adjusted pretax profit between GBP4.4 million and GBP4.9 million, a 47% to 53% drop from GBP9.3 million the year before and new fee income to be between GBP52 million from GBP55 million, a 26% to 30% fall year-on-year from GBP74.5 million for 2019.

"While protecting key investments, cost control has continued to be a priority as we navigate the current environment. Costs have increased over recent months as usage of furlough or similar schemes has reduced and demand has started to return, but this has been managed against increases in net fee income to ensure that the group is able to deliver improved profit performance," the group stated.
