British Honey Co PLC - Buckinghamshire-based spirits and honey maker - Receives a requisition notice from 17% shareholder Mark Gamble requiring that the board convene a general meeting. Resolutions include Michael Williams be removed as chair, any appointee to the board between the date of the request for the requisitioned general meeting and the general meeting be removed from as a director and Gamble also be appointed as a director with immediate effect.
"The board is considering the content of the requisition notice, to which it intends to respond in accordance with the requirements of the act. In the meantime, the board urges shareholders to take no further action until the board has shared its views on these proposals," company says.
