Amte Power PLC - London-based developer and manufacturer of lithium-ion and sodium-ion battery cells for specialist markets - Posts turnover of GBP546,080 for the six months ended December 31, down 33% from GBP815,174 a year before. Pretax loss widens to GBP3.7 million from GBP2.6 million, as operating loss widens to GBP3.8 million from GBP2.6 million in 2021. Finance costs almost double to GBP208,790 from GBP120,991. Cash amounts to GBP1.2 million at period end, down from GBP6.3 million a year prior.
Chief Executive Officer Alan Hollis says: "I am pleased to report that Amte Power continued to make good progress in the half year ended December 31, 2022, with progress continuing in line with market expectations of loss before tax for the full financial year."
