Agronomics Ltd - alternative proteins company - Says portfolio company Meatable BV has closed a USD47 million series A funding round, with participation from new investors Section 32, Jeffrey Leiden and strategic investor DSM, as well as support from existing investors, BlueYard Capital, Humboldt and Taavet Hinrikus in addition to Agronomics. The company says it invested EUR2 million in this series A round, for 1,197 preferred shares. Agronomics holds 4,752 preferred shares in Meatable, representing 5.7% stake.
Current stock price: 29.01 pence, up 11% on Tuesday
Year-to-date change: more than doubled from 12p on December 31
