LONDON (Alliance News) - Holders Technology PLC said Friday it swung to an interim profit after increasing revenue, though it has held its dividend flat.
For the six months to May 31, the supplier of LED products posted a pretax profit of GBP65,000 compared to a GBP53,000 loss recorded in the same period last year.
Revenue increased by 6.8% to GBP6.2 million from GBP5.8 million in the comparative year-ago period.
Revenue for Holders' LED unit amounted to GBP1.4 million, up from GBP1.2 million year-on-year, while the printed circuit board unit (PCB) increased revenue to GBP4.8 million from GBP4.6 million a year ago.
The company kept its interim dividend unchanged at 0.25 pence per share.
"Customer interest in our smart lighting control solutions has been very encouraging and we begin the second half of the 2018 financial year with a strong order book," Executive Chairman Rudolf Weinreich said.
Holders Technology shares were trading down 1.1% at 43.50p each.
