(Sharecast News) - Property development and investment firm Hammerson announced on Thursday that chief financial officer Himanshu Raja had informed the board of his intention to retire after five years in the role.
Hammerson said Raja will step down as CFO and as a director of the company on 12 August, following publication of the firm's interim results. He will remain employed by Hamerson for the next 12 months in order to assist with an orderly transition.
Richard Shaw, deputy CFO, will become interim CFO when Raja steps down.
Chief executive Rob Wilkinson said" "Hammerson's FY25 results are a testament to the hard work and exceptional execution of the Hammerson team over the last five years. Himanshu has been an outstanding CFO over that period, leaving the group well placed for the next phase of growth. I would like to personally thank him for his support and continued commitment to Hammerson's success."
As of 0900 BST, Hammerson shares were down 0.25% at 324.80p.
