Globo partners with IBM

Globo gained after the software developer announced it was partnering with IT heavyweight IBM.The company has been granted advanced membership of IBM's PartnerWorld Porgram and its Enterprise Mobility Management (EMM) platform. Advanced membership provides Globo with a framework to collaborate with IBM executives, sales teams, and other business partners for strategic initiatives. Globo's enterprise grade mobility expertise will be incorporated into IBM's range of technology services.The firm's GO!Enterprise software platform will also be included in IBM's global solutions directory."This partnership with IBM, a world class information technology leader, is a major coup for Globo," said Chief Executive Costis Papadimitrakopoulos."It follows a rigorous assessment of GO!Enterprise which has proved its market leadership in terms of security , functionality and effectiveness in enabling businesses to address the BYOD [Bring Your Own Device] trend. It also demonstrates Globo's commitment to expanding its international partner-focused growth strategy in the enterprise mobility space."Shares were up 7.21% to 59.50p at 10:34 on Tuesday.RD
