(Alliance News) - Gabelli Value Plus Trust PLC said Thursday that Jonathan Davie will step down as chair with effect from when a replacement is found.
Davie has been part of the trust for three years since 2016. He is also chair at Hansa Trust PLC, and was formerly a non-executive director of FTSE 100 housebuilder Persimmon for eight years from 2009 to 2017.
Gabelli Value will shortly start a process to find a suitable replacement for Davie.
Shares in Gabelli Value Plus closed up 1.4% at 133.31 pence in London on Thursday.
