Frontier IP secures EIT grant

Tue, 14th Jul 2020 09:30
(Sharecast News) - Intellectual property group Frontier IP has won a grant to further develop software tools aimed at optimising wastewater treatment.
Frontier IP said on Tuesday that portfolio company AquaInSilico had secured a €60,000 RawMaterials grant from the European Union's European Institute of Innovation and Technology.

The AIM-listed group said the deal would build upon its collaboration with an unnamed European environmental, water and waste management company to commercialise its software tools to remove phosphorus from wastewater in a more environmentally friendly and effective way than existing methods.

Chief executive Neil Crabb said: "AquaInSilico has been making good progress in collaboration with its industry partners, progress reflected and validated by the award of this grant to commercialise the technology."

As of 0930 BST, Frontier shares were up 4.70% at 65.96p. Frontier Ip
