EXECUTIVE CHANGES: ZCCM picks Kakenenwa Muyangwa as new CEO

(Alliance News) - The following is a round-up of London-listed company director and manager changes announced in the past week and not separately reported by Alliance News:

ZCCM Investment Holdings PLC - Lusaka-based holding company focused on the mining sector - Promotes Kakenenwa Muyangwa to chief executive officer and board director, effective as of June 6. He has served as chair of ZCCM's board since 2018. Previously, Muyangwa was a consultant to the African Development Bank in Ivory Coast and a non-executive director of First National Bank Zambia Ltd. Former Vice Chair Mubita Akapelwa will take over as chair of the board. Chief Technical Officer Tino Chama returns to his normal duties. Chama became acting CEO back in May, when ZCCM announced a mutually agreed separation with former CEO Ndoba Vibetti.

Cloudbreak Discovery PLC - Vancouver, Canada-based natural resource project generator - Appoints Tom Evans as managing director. Evans has worked across fund management, capital markets and corporate finance at merchant banks and London-listed firms in the resource sector. Evans is the founder of a natural resource-focused hedge fund.

Cap-XX Ltd - Sydney-based maker of small-scale capacitors and energy management systems - Names chartered accountant Anthony Guarna as interim chief financial officer, with immediate effect. Guarna replaces Ariel Sivikofsky who has stepped down to pursue further career development. Guarna has worked in senior roles at various firms listed on the Australian Stock Exchange, including EZZ Life Science Holdings Ltd, Aumake Ltd, and Freedom Insurance Group Ltd.
