LONDON (Alliance News) - Empiric Student Property PLC said Thursday that bookings for the current academic year reached a level of 96%, with the company firmly approaching its 97% target.
The student accommodation operator said that the later reservations relate to lettings to international and postgraduate students, which continue through October and into November.
"The group continues to make good progress on delivering financial and operational improvements across the business and remains on track to meet its previously stated targets," the company added.
Shares in the firm were trading up 0.1% at 96.50 pence each.
