LONDON (Alliance News) - Elektron Technology PLC said Wednesday it expects its Bulgin business' interim sales to be ahead of last year, as the division generated a "significantly stronger" order book.
The technology group said Bulgin's order book and year-to-date orders hit "record levels", with the company expecting full-year sales for its year ending next January ahead of the GBP27.3 million achieved last year.
Bulgin designs, engineers, and manufactures sealed circular connectors and electronic components.
Half-year Bulgin sales to the end of July are expected to exceed last year's GBP12.5 million by "at least" GBP1 million.
The Group's SaaS division, Checkit, continued to make "strong progress" the company said. It is in advanced discussions with a number of global businesses who want to adopt its technology.
Elektron Technology shares were trading down 1.3% at 39.00 pence each.
