Drax operations director to step down

(ShareCast News) - Drax's operations director Peter Emery will leave the company and cease to be a director at the end of the year as part of the group's transition to a new executive management structure. In addition, Drax said it has appointed Andy Koss, chief executive of its power generation business Drax Power Ltd, as a director with effect from 1 January next year.Koss joined Drax in 2005 and has held senior roles in finance and regulation and is CEO of Drax Power Ltd.At 1009 GMT, shares in the power generation company were up 1.7% at 241.60p.
