LONDON (Alliance News) - dotDigital Group PLC Tuesday expressed confidence in meeting revenue and profit expectations for 2014, as it saw pretax profit rise in the half year ended December 31.
Pretax profit was GBP2.1 million, up from GBP211,000 in the previous year.
dotDigital posted revenue of GBP7.6 million, up from GBP5.7 million in the previous year, boosted by the growth of its dotMailer email marketing platform. New contract wins alongside growth in recurring revenues from existing clients meant that average monthly recurring spend per client increased to GBP284 from GBP238 in the previous year.
The company recently launched its Magneto connector e-commerce platform, and said that it now had over 75 clients with an average recurring spend of GBP700 a month.
dotDigital did not propose an interim dividend.
Shares in dotDigital were trading down 1.2% at 29.88 pence Tuesday morning.
