DIRECTOR DEALINGS: TSB Chair and CEO Buy Shares After Results

(Alliance News) - Permanent TSB Group Holdings PLC said on Monday Chair Robert Elliott and Chief Executive Officer Jeremy Masding both bought shares in the financial services provider a day after the firm released its half-year report.

Masding, on Friday last week, bought 13,611 shares in Permanent TSB at a price of 109.104 pence each. The transaction had a total value of GBP14,850.15. His stake in the company following the purchase was not disclosed.

Elliot, also on Friday, bought 16,500 shares in Permanent TSB at a price of EUR1.20 each. The transaction had a total value of EUR19,800. His stake in the company following the purchase was also not disclosed.

On Thursday last week, Permanent TSB recorded an interim pretax profit of EUR28 million, down 51% from the EUR57 million reported the year before. However, total lending volume increased 22% year on year to EUR700 million.

On Monday, shares in Permanent TSB were down 2.0% at EUR1.192 each.
