Thu, 22nd Sep 2016 11:43

LONDON (Alliance News) - 7digital PLC said three of its senior executives bought shares on Thursday.

Chief Executive Officer Simon Cole bought 56,480 shares at 5.015 pence per share. The purchase takes his holding to 2.3 million shares, or a 2.02% stake.

Chief Financial Officer Matt Honey bought 56,875 shares at the same price, which is his only holding. Chief Commercial Officer Ed Kershaw bought 90,532 shares at 5.52p per share, which is also his only holding.

7digital on Monday said its loss was significantly narrower in the first half of 2016 after the company avoided booking any impairments in the period and managed to report a small rise in revenue. The group also said it has signed a contract with grandPad, a technology provider targeting the senior citizen market.

Shares in the digital music and radio services company were down 4.4% at 5.50p Thursday.
