DIRECTOR DEALINGS SUMMARY: Former MI5 Chief Buys Shares In HSBC

LONDON (Alliance News) - The following is a summary of director dealings reported in London on Tuesday .

HSBC Holdings said the former director general of the UK security service bought shares in the lender on Monday.

Non-Executive Director Johnathan Evans bought 1,897 shares at GBP5.2375 each. His total shareholding was undisclosed.

Evans was appointed to the HSBC board in August of 2013, having retired from MI5 after 33 years, six of which were at the helm, earlier that year.

HSBC closed down 1.4% at 514.07p Tuesday.

Virgin Money Holdings said Chairman Glen Moreno bought 25,000 shares at GBP3.932 each Tuesday. Shares in the lender closed down 0.9% at 391.80p Tuesday.

Tube manipulation specialist Tricorn Group said Chairman Andrew Moss bought 100,000 shares at a price of 11.25 pence per share on Tuesday. Following this transaction, Moss has a notifiable beneficial interest in 150,000 shares, representing approximately 0.45% of issued shares. The stock closed down 2.7% at 10.70p Tuesday.
