Director dealings: Staffline, Great Southern Copper insiders linked to sale-and-repurchases

(Sharecast News) - Staffline chairman Thomas Spain's closely associated investment vehicle and Great Southern Copper non-executive director Nicholas Briers carried out matched sale-and-repurchase transactions, according to director dealing disclosures made to the London market on Tuesday.

Staffline said Henry Spain Investment Services Limited, a person closely associated with Thomas Spain, sold 169,753 ordinary shares on 28 May at an average price of 41p each and bought back the same number of shares at the same average price.

The recruitment group said the transactions left Henry Spain Investment Services Limited's notifiable interest unchanged at 34,778,675 shares, representing 29.98% of Staffline's issued ordinary share capital.

Each side of the transaction was worth about £69,699.

Separately, Great Southern Copper said Nicholas Briers, a non-executive director, sold and repurchased 833,333 ordinary shares through a Bed and ISA arrangement to transfer the shares into ISA accounts.

Briers sold the shares at 2.5p each, for £20,833.33, and repurchased the same number at 2.5036p each, for £20,863.32.

Following the transaction, he held 2,311,110 shares in the Chile-focused copper-gold-silver explorer, representing 0.30% of its issued ordinary share capital.

At 1536 BST, shares in Staffline Group were up 1.46% at 41.6p, while those in Great Southern Copper were ahead 7.69% at 2.8p.
