Speedy Hire PLC - Merseyside, England-based tools hire - Non-Executive Chair David Shearer buys 150,000 shares, mostly at GBP0.41, worth GBP60,735, on Wednesday. On Tuesday, Speedy Hire had said pretax profit fell to GBP13.2 million in the six months that ended September 30 from GBP14.3 million a year before, even as revenue increased by 14% to GBP212.4 million from GBP186.6 million.
