LONDON (Alliance News) - Amerisur Resources PLC said Tracarta Ltd, a company in which Amerisur Chief Executive John Wardle holds an interest, acquired 428,000 shares at a price of 17.516 pence per share on Wednesday.
Following this GBP74,968 transaction, Tracarta now holds 31.1 million shares in Amerisur, reflecting a 2.6% stake in the company. Wardle is co-owner of Tracarta.
Also on Wednesday, Independent Non-Executive Director Dana Coffield bought 469,850 shares at an average of 17.96p per share for a total of GBP84,385.
Coffield now holds 1.1 million Amerisur shares, representing a 0.1% stake.
Shares in Amerisur were up 4.0% at 18.40 pence on Thursday in London.
