Darktrace management and employees sell GBP25 million worth of shares

(Alliance News) - Darktrace PLC on Wednesday said members of its employees and management, including its chief executive, successfully sold a stake worth in the company worth a combined GBP25 million.

Jefferies International Ltd, the global co-ordinator of the transaction, said 6.1 million shares in the cybersecurity company were sold at 410 pence each, GBP25.2 million in total.

Darktrace shares 1.1% lower at 412.13p each in London on Wednesday morning.

Jefferies announced the transaction late Tuesday. It said shares were to be sold on behalf of "employee shareholders". CEO Poppy Gustafsson and Chief Technology Officer Jack Stockdale where the only members of Darktrace's management involved in the sale.

Gustafsson and Stockdale were selling less than 10% of their respective stakes, Jefferies added on Tuesday.

Equiniti Financial Services Ltd were engaged to sell the shares on behalf of the employees.
