Mon, 21st May 2018 12:51

LONDON (Alliance News) - Concurrent Technologies PLC said on Monday that it has completed thermal, shock and vibration qualification testing of its range of rugged VPX server boards.

The computer boards manufacturer said VPX boards can be customised with a range of memory and security enhancements without compromising the minimal size, weight and power characteristics of the boards.

Concurrent Tech said the technology is ideal for the defence sector and is expected to be integrated into both battlefield and support applications.

"Having completed the necessary qualifications, we are now selling class leading, single slot server products that are capable of operating at full processor loading irrespective of the card edge temperature," said Chief Executive Glen Fawcett.

Shares in Concurrent Tech were down 0.3% on Monday at 76.25 pence each.
