Collagen Solutions Takes 10.5% Stake In Jellagen Pty Ltd

LONDON (Alliance News) - Collagen Solutions PLC Thursday said that it now owns a 10.5% stake in its strategic partners Jellagen Pty Ltd.

Collagen develops and manufactures medical grade collagen components for use in regenerative medicine, medical devices and in-vitro diagnostics.

Collagen Solutions said its subsidiary Collagen Solutions UK Ltd now owns 10.5% stake in Jellagen, following a first tranche investment of GBP400,000 made by a consortium led by Finance Wales.

Jellagen offers a full spectrum of jellyfish derived collagen proteins, as well as a range of additional products for derma care and medical device applications.

Collagen shares were trading 0.5% lower Thursday morning at 9.70 pence per share.
