Collagen Solutions signs agreement with Globus Medic

Medical grade collagen components developer Collagen Solutions announced it had agreed a deal with US-based Globus Medic.Under the agreement, the group will supply fibrous collagen powder for use in the manufacture of Globus' bone grafting products."Globus utilising our fibrous collagen powder is another example of how Collagen Solutions will realise its value, through strong and long partnerships with customers, founded on early stage commitment and the provision of quality, competitive collagen materials to ensure the provision of cost effective health care for patients," said group chief executive Stewart White.The two firms did not disclose any financial details of the contract but Collagen shares soared 10.00% to 13.75p at 10:43 on Monday.
