Collagen Recruits Gillian Black From GVA James Barr As New CFO

LONDON (Alliance News) - Collagen Solutions PLC Monday said it has appointed Gillian Black as its new chief financial officer and company secretary with immediate effect.

Known as Healthcare Investment Opportunities PLC until recently changing its name, Collagen said it recruited Black as its new chief financial officer for her experience.

Black was financial director and company secretary of A&E Russell Ltd before its acquisition by Bunzl PLC in 2008. Most recently, she has been GVA James Barr Ltd's head of finance and company secretary.

Collagen develops and manufactures medical grade collagen components for use in regenerative medicine, medical devices and in-vitro diagnostics.

Collagen shares were Monday quoted at 11.75 pence, untraded.
