Chile copper commission raises price estimate to $5.55/lb this year
SANTIAGO, May 19 (Reuters) - Chilean state copper commission Cochilco on Tuesday raised its price estimate for the red metal to $5.55 per pound for this year, citing strong global demand and tight supply.
Cochilco also hiked its estimate for 2027 to $5.10 per pound. (Reporting by Natalia Ramos and Daina Beth Solomon; Editing by Aida Pelaez-Fernandez)
