Berkeley Energia denies recent reports around Salamanca mine permits

Mon, 29th Oct 2018 14:56
(Sharecast News) - Berkeley Energia updated the market on the ongoing confusion surrounding its Salamanca open-cast uranium mine on Monday, after reports emerged earlier in the month that the Spanish government had elected not to deliver the required permits. The AIM-traded firm said it had been advised by the Nuclear Safety Council that it was not the source of the widely-circulated reports that the government was intending to deny the permits for the mine."The company is continuing to work with the Nuclear Safety Council in progressing the necessary approvals for the Salamanca mine and will keep the market fully informed of any developments," Berkeley said in its short statement.
