Auction house Christie's names Francois-Henri Pinault as its chairman

PARIS, May ​22 (Reuters) - ⁠French billionaire Francois-Henri ​Pinault was named ​as ‌the ⁠new chairman of Christie's, ⁠which is ​owned by his family investment ​holding Artemis, ‌the auction house said in ​a statement ‌on Friday.

Bryan Lourd, the Hollywood ‌talent agent and one of the leaders ​of CAA which ‌is another asset majority-owned by ⁠the Pinault ⁠family, ‌also joined Christie's board ​as ​a ‌director. (Reporting by Tassilo Hummel; Editing by Sudip Kar-Gupta)
