Arden boss departs

Jeremy Grime has left broker Arden Partners less than one month after he gained regulatory approval to take up the position of chief executive after a rumoured disagreement with the board over a potential acquisition. Grime was appointed chief executive designate on 22 June. Grime joined AIM-quoted Arden in 2007 and established its financials team so he was not an unknown quantity. Grime's appointment was confirmed when Arden warned that it will not meet profit expectations this year. Grime replaced Jonathan Keeling as chief executive with Keeling becoming deputy chairman in order to focus on adding to the Indian client base. Keeling will reassume the reins at Arden for an interim period.
