AIM WINNERS & LOSERS: Strategic Minerals raises GBP4.7 million

Thu, 19th Mar 2026 10:41

(Alliance News) - The following stocks are the leading risers and fallers on AIM on Thursday.

----------

AIM - WINNERS

----------

Strategic Minerals PLC, up 12% at 4.70 pence, 12-month range 0.25p-4.70p. The company raises GBP4.7 million through a subscription of 134.3 million shares at 3.5p each, led by a prominent international investor. The issue price represents a 16.7% discount to the prior closing mid-price and the 30-day volume weighted average price. Strategic Minerals says the proceeds will accelerate development of its Redmoor tungsten-tin-copper project in Cornwall.

----------

ECO Animal Health Group PLC, up 8.8% at 105.00p, 12-month range 50.00p-116.90p. The company expects full-year revenue to rise around 8% year-on-year, slightly above market expectations, driven by North America and Latin America despite currency and tariff headwinds. ECO says improved pricing and lower cost of goods support stronger gross margins, resulting in adjusted Ebitda materially ahead of both last year's GBP7.3 million and current consensus forecasts. Audited results are expected in early July.

----------

AIM - LOSERS

----------

Amaroq Ltd, 5.4% at 99.33p, 12-month range 60.00p-155.00p. The company confirms its voluntary delisting from the TSX Venture Exchange takes effect at the close of trading on March 19. Amaroq says its shares will continue to trade on AIM, Nasdaq Iceland and OTCQX, and that it will remain subject to Canadian reporting obligations despite the TSX-V delisting.

----------

Central Asia Metals PLC, down 5.0% at 161.20p, 12-month range 134.46p-244.00p. The miner swings to a 2025 pretax loss of USD58.5 million from a USD77.2 million profit a year earlier, despite revenue rising to USD229.9 million from USD214.4 million. Central Asia Metals declares a total dividend of 12p, down from 18p in 2024, and guides 2026 production of 12,000 to 13,000 tonnes of copper, 26,000 to 28,000 tonnes of lead-in-concentrate and 18,000 to 20,000 tonnes of zinc-in-concentrate.
