AIM WINNERS & LOSERS: Mobile Tornado drops 40% as plans de-listing

Mon, 11th Aug 2025 11:07

(Alliance News) - The following stocks are the leading risers and fallers on AIM on Monday.

----------

AIM - WINNERS

----------

Falcon Oil & Gas Ltd, up 12% at 7.75 pence, 12-month range 3.60p-10.00p. The Australia, Hungary and South Africa-focused oil and gas company says the Shenandoah South 2H Sidetrack achieves a 90-day initial output rate of 6.7 million cubic feet per day within the Amungee Member B-Shale formation. The asset is located in the Beetaloo Sub-basin in Australia. "The fact that the well increased production rate from 6.4 MMcf/d to 6.5 MMcf/d over the last 30 days with very little change in pressure shows that we have more opportunity to optimize and maximize the performance of the Amungee member B-shale," Falcon Oil Director Tom Layman says.

----------

Gemfields Group Ltd, up 4.4% at 5.95p, 12-month range 3.85p-12.20p. Gemfields agrees to sell luxury brand Faberge to SMG Capital LLC for USD50 million. The Faberge sale concludes its strategic review, first announced in December last year. With the sale of Faberge and the discontinuance of other non-core projects, the miner and marketer of coloured gemstones said it is now streamlined and focused investment proposition.

----------

AIM - LOSERS

----------

Mobile Tornado Group PLC, down 43% at 0.80p, 12-month range 0.46p-1.92p. The provider of workforce management solutions proposes exiting the AIM market. It believes the listing on London's junior market has too much cost and "regulatory burden", and there is "limited liquidity" in trading of its shares. Moving away from AIM will offer the firm "corporate and strategic flexibility" and make it easier to access finance, Mobile Tornado claims. It also can aid a future sale process. Shareholders will have access to a matched bargain facility provided by JP Jenkins. Shareholders will vote on the delisting on September 1, and the final day of dealings will be a week later if an AIM exit is approved.
