AB Dynamics Hires New CEO James Routh From Diploma

LONDON (Alliance News) - Motor-focused testing systems provider AB Dynamics PLC said on Tuesday it has appointed James Routh as chief executive officer with effect on October 1.

Routh will be joining from FTSE 250-listed technical products supplier Diploma PLC, where he has been managing director for the International Seals division for six years since 2012. Prior to that, Routh was engineering director for a year from 2011 to 2012 at engineering company David Brown Gar Systems Ltd.

"I am very pleased that James will be joining AB Dynamics as CEO. James has a track record in the management of the size of business to which we now aspire, providing operational improvements and the development of overseas operations. I very much look forward to having him on board," said Chairman Tony Best.

Shares in AB Dynamics were up 2.4% at 1,280.15 pence on Tuesday.
