Worldpay appoints Kim Crawford Goodman as US chief executive

(ShareCast News) - FTSE 100 payments process Worldpay has appointed Kim Crawford Goodman as chief executive officer of its US business with effect from 7 November.After a handover period, she will succeed Floris de Kort who has decided to leave the group at the end of this year.Goodman has held senior positions in financial services and technology companies, including most recently at American Express where she ran the Merchant Services Americas business before becoming president of Global Business Travel.She has also held a number of executive positions at Dell and Bain & Company, and is currently on the board at Brocade and Charter Communications.Chief executive Philip Jansen said: "Kim is a highly accomplished leader and brings with her a wealth of skills and experience that will take us to the next stage of our strategic development in the US."At 1435 BST, Worldpay shares were down 0.6% to 294.90p.
